A Deferred Reverse Outcome Jun 13, 2026 // NHRA Event FC Results // editorVeteran driver Jack Beckman earned his 38th career NHRA National event title during Saturday’s delayed running for NHRA’s New England Nationals – held 6 days later at Bristol Dragway – during qualifying for the Thunder Valley Nationals.
That occurrence was a consequence of some ill-timed rain which hit New England Dragway immediately prior to that scheduled final round – June 7th.
Beckman, driving the JFR Team Peak-presented Camaro managed to also reverse the outcome for the New England Dragway’s Mission Foods #2Fast2Tasty Challenge competition (June 6th) during which he lost that final round decision to JFR team mate Jordan Vandergriff — who had won that particular match by a 3.913 secs to 3.953 secs margin.
This time (for the event championship), Beckman reversed his fate — by running a winning 4.017 secs at 318.54 mph when Vandergriff (the #1 qualifier) lost traction and shut off.
“Fast Jack” — who had qualified #2 at New England, had defeated Phil Burkhart, Matt Hagan and Ron Capps in rounds prior to the unscheduled “wet stuff” interruption.
