Motorsports Notoriety at Indy!

Todd Lesenko made a very big impression yesterday within the entire Motorsports racing scene with a very spectacular and truly frightening incident during final round FC qualifying at the NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals.

Todd had a catastrophic engine failure during his final qualifying attempt which pitched and disintegrated the Grime Boss Dodge Stratus body on the Jim Dunn Racing machine.   Todd rode out a high speed result which saw him cross over just in front of Jon Capps but he did a great job driving and ultimately made no contact with Capps or the wall and  got stopped safely.   Minor burns to his hand and sore ribs were the only injuries.

On a positive note the car did run a 4.173 secs which put him into the show #15!  The team is working thru the night to make repairs and plans are to run the Tap It Monte Carlo in today’s scheduled first round match-up vs Jack Beckman.
