Indy Effort on Hold!

Todd Lesenko’s first ever bid for drag racing’s ultimate crown at it’s most fabled event — the NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals — is on hold. 

Due to inclement weather over the weekend (residue effect of Hurricane Issac) — NHRA officials yesterday were forced to postpone the conclusion of the event until next weekend back at Indianapolis (September 8-9th).

At this point Todd currently sits #15 on the qualifying grid following a pretty darn decent 4.209 secs run at 295.05 mph recorded last Friday — his first run ever down the historic Indy drag strip!

Todd and the entire Jim Dunn Racing team will get two opportunities to improve on that this coming Saturday during two more scheduled qualifying rounds.
