VP Racing Fuels, Inc., has been named the “Official Fuel of the DRO Nostalgia Nitro Challenge” for this season. Under the agreement, VP will deliver nitromethane and alcohol fuels to competitors at all six events on the Hedman Husler Hedders DragRacingOnline.com Nostalgia Nitro Challenge presented by Comp Cams 2015 schedule.

“Having nitro at our events has always been an issue,” explained Series Director Jeff Burk. “Series racers have been forced to buy where they could and transport the fuel in their trailer often across the country. Now that we have added Fuel Altereds and Top Fuel cars to the Funny Cars in the program — which should mean more cars at each event — having nitro at the tracks is even more important.”

“Our partnership with VP includes a process wherein racers can pre-order VP NitroRace® before each race and have it delivered by VP to the track before an event,” said Burk.

A ‘Fuel Pre-Order Form’ for this purpose is attached below:

Racers should ensure they submit their orders by the cut-off date indicated on the form for each event and note in particular that orders for the first event at Beacon Dragway are due by April 17.”

Racers who win an event will receive $125 and the runner-up will receive $100 if they purchase VP NitroRace and display VP Racing Fuels decals prominently on both sides of their cars throughout the event.
