Close — But No Cigar at Bristol

Todd and the Jim Dunn Racing “Tap It Brewing” FC team kicked off the second half of the 2012 NHRA Full Throttle season during last weekend’s Ford Thunder Valley Nationals held at fabulous Bristol Dragway. The event proved to be very trying one for the team as they tried their best to marry their tune-up with very hot track and every changing atmosperic conditions. The team’s best run came in the final qualifier on Saturday afternoon but unfortunately that 4.289 secs lap fell short of the 16-car bump spot.

The team will now regroup and head off to Route 66 Raceway near Chicago next ((June 28-July 1st). Some rather major changes will be made to the car in advance of the event (hint-hint nudge-nudge) so fans can watch for news on that soon……(BB)
