New Look for Jim Dunn Racing/Arend Aug 27, 2014 // Funny Car News Hotzone // editorGRIME BOSS FUNNY CAR WILL FEATURE REALTREE CAMOUFLAGE GRAPHICS STARTING AT INDY
The Jim Dunn Racing, Grime Boss Funny Car will have a new look starting with the 2014 U.S. Nationals over the Labor Day Weekend. The traditional black and gold scheme will be replaced with Realtree camouflage to promote Grime Boss Realtree Wipes.
Grime Boss Realtree Wipes are unscented and used by hunters, fisherman and outdoorsmen. The popular wipes come in 24 count packages or individually wrapped singles and are available in Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shops, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Gander Mountain, Advanced Auto Parts, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Scheel’s and Lowe’s Home Improvement.
The camouflage graphics will remain on the Grime Boss Funny Car for NHRA national events in Charlotte, Dallas, St. Louis, and Reading, PA, recognizing the upcoming fall hunting seasons in many states.
Jim Dunn Racing driver, Jeff Arend, is excited to see the new design on the Funny Car body heading into the biggest race of the season. “The entire time I’ve driven the Grime Boss Funny Car for Jim Dunn Racing Racing it has always featured their black and gold graphics, so I’m excited to promote the Realtree product and give all of the outdoors and hunting fans out there something extra to cheer about,” said Arend. “Grime Boss launched a new household line of products in Bed Bath & Beyond stores earlier this summer with a blue and white color scheme, so don’t be shocked at some point if our car turns another color.”
