{"id":735,"date":"2013-10-29T14:05:53","date_gmt":"2013-10-29T14:05:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/?p=735"},"modified":"2013-11-12T00:52:59","modified_gmt":"2013-11-12T00:52:59","slug":"no-luck-las-vegas-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/?p=735","title":{"rendered":"Last Season Ride for Lesenko"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Last Season Ride for Lesenko<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Todd Lesenko&#8217;s final scheduled racing appearance of the season driving, \u00a0during NHRA&#8217;s Toyota Nationals at Las Vegas did not produce the desired results.<\/p>\n<p>Anticipation was high for Todd and the rest of the Worsham Racing team who entered the event after a significant layoff. \u00a0 They had not raced together since the NHRA O&#8217;Reilly Northwest Nationals last August.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately at Las Vegas the very powerful Fountain Tire Dodge Charger was just that &#8212; too powerful.\u00a0 The team&#8217;s attempts to tame and finesse the car were not successful and all four of their qualifiers resulted in aborted runs.
