{"id":708,"date":"2013-08-05T19:14:16","date_gmt":"2013-08-05T19:14:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/?p=708"},"modified":"2013-08-06T15:31:34","modified_gmt":"2013-08-06T15:31:34","slug":"pacific-northwest-progress-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/?p=708","title":{"rendered":"Pacific Northwest Progress Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Pacific Northwest Progress Report!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Todd Lesenko&#8217;s 2nd career appearance during NHRA&#8217;s Northwest Nationals held near Seattle produced some terrific progress for he and his Worsham Racing aimed team.<\/p>\n<p>Driving his special edition Fountain Tire-sponsored &#8220;Canadian Fan Tribute&#8221; Dodge Charger &#8212; Todd and company made their three most consistent consecutive runs of the season during the rain-shorted event which saw the 16-car field set on only two qualifying rounds on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>After running a trouble free 4.220 secs at 291.76 mph in the first session &#8212; Todd improved to a season&#8217;s best elapsed time of 4.149 secs later on Saturday afternoon which ultimately did qualify him solidly for Sunday&#8217;s eliminations in the #13 position.<\/p>\n<p>Round one Sunday; \u00a0featured Todd versus NHRA&#8217;s 2011 series champion Matt Hagan &#8211; driver of the Magneti-Marelli Dodge Charger from DSR Racing. \u00a0Hagan used a starting line advantage to score a very close 4.155 secs to 4.161 secs decision. \u00a0 That winning match helped to vault Hagan to victory lane later in the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Todd and the entire team congratulate Matt Hagan on his 4th event win of the 2013 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season.<\/p>\n<p>Next up for Lesenko and the Worsham Racing Dodge Charger on the racing calendar will be the biggest drag racing event in the world; \u00a0the NHRA U.S. Nationals which opens at Indianapolis beginning August 28th.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Seattle-TL1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-705\" alt=\"Seattle-TL1\" src=\"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Seattle-TL1.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"416\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;..(BB)<\/p>\n<p>To view additional images from this event click : <a href=\"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/?page_id=75\"><strong>\u00a0HERE<\/strong><\/a> (use menu to select event Seattle 2013)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pacific Northwest Progress Report!
