The 56th running of the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals did mark the end of an era for the Aeroflow 400 Thunder Drag Racing Series. That sanction name will cease to exist as Australia\u2019s drag racing community has mutually agreed to move forward instead while embracing the newly formed *NDRC (National Drag Racing Championship) series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screen-Shot-2023-07-04-at-2.10.14-pm-e1688446385783.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screen-Shot-2023-07-04-at-2.10.14-pm-1024x698.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5531\" width=\"502\" height=\"341\"\/><\/a><figcaption>Morice McMillin &#8211; 2023 Aeroflow 400 Thunder Drag Racing Series Champion. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(*NDRC is designed to \u201cfinally\u201d unify Australian drag racing under one national championship chase for both Group One (Professional) and (Group 2) Sportsman competitors under the guiding principle of \u2018One Way, Forward.\u2019)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s inaugural season will begin next October featuring an 11-race Group One event calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Aeroflow 400 Thunder Drag Racing Series &#8220;Swan Song&#8221; event was a performance laden one with both of Graeme Cowin&#8217;s Aeroflow\/Rocket Industries cars making some jaw-dropping laps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/aeroflow-performance-logo_2_1_2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"450\" height=\"87\" src=\"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/aeroflow-performance-logo_2_1_2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5538\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/aeroflow-performance-logo_2_1_2.png 450w, https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/aeroflow-performance-logo_2_1_2-259x50.png 259w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Morice McMillin was consistently quick while winning the very last Fuel FC event and with that also the season series title. His best time came in the final round running a superb 4.702 secs at 322.50 mph driving Graeme Cowin\u2019s Aeroflow Toyota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>McMillin&#8217;s teammate Brandon Gosbell (driver of the Rocket Industries Ford Mustang) was runner-up. Gosbell recorded the quickest time in Australia FC history while qualifying on the pole &#8212; at record smashing 4.693 secs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screen-Shot-2023-07-04-at-2.08.53-pm-e1688446412830.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"357\" src=\"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screen-Shot-2023-07-04-at-2.08.53-pm-e1688446412830.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5530\"\/><\/a><figcaption>Brandon Gosbell &#8211; Rocket Industries Ford Mustang<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>That math is pretty impressive by any\/all standards.
