Jim Dunn Racing Brings Grime Boss and Rookie Funny Car Driver Todd Lesenko\u00a0to \u201cThe Big Go\u201d….<\/em><\/p>\n

Grime Boss Hand Wipes NHRA Nitro Funny Car Driver, Todd Lesenko, has several big events ahead of him leading up to Labor Day.\u00a0 On Wednesday, August 29th<\/sup>, he will be introduced along with other NHRA professional racers at the Indy Fan Fest in Monument circle.\u00a0 The next day, Thursday the 30th<\/sup>, he will make an autograph appearance at the Menards store in Lebanon, IN, and Friday through Sunday he will work toward getting a solid position in the Funny Car field for elimination rounds at this year\u2019s NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals presented by Auto-Plus, at Lucas Oil Raceway Park, Monday, September 3.\u00a0 This all sounds like a lot for a rookie Funny Car driver, but he has the direction and support of veteran Funny Car team owner and crew chief, Jim Dunn.<\/p>\n

Thursday, August 30, 2012\u00a0 6:00-7:30pm\u00a0 Grime Boss Hand Wipes Funny Car Display & Autograph Session at the\u00a0 Menards 402 Sam Ralston Road Lebanon, IN <\/em><\/p>\n

Friday \u2013 Monday, August 31-Sept 3, NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals presented by Auto-Plus at Lucas Oil Raceway<\/em><\/p>\n

Jim Dunn Racing won the NHRA U.S. Nationals with Frank Pedregon as its driver in 1999, and also tasted victory at Indianapolis with another international driver, Kenji Okazaki, in the 1997 Big Bud Shootout.\u00a0 Current team driver, Todd Lesenko, is one of eight drivers vying for the final lottery spot in this year\u2019s Traxxas Funny Car Shootout, held Sunday of the U.S. Nationals weekend.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

For years, Funny Car driver Todd Lesenko, has heard about the history surrounding the NHRA U.S. Nationals, and what it\u2019s means to win drag racing\u2019s most prestigious race.\u00a0 \u201cLast year I went to Indy for the first time, and I watched the races as a spectator in the grandstands\u201d Todd said.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s hard to believe this year I will be competing to win the U.S. Nationals.\u00a0 I\u2019m really looking forward to the week of festivities in downtown Indianapolis, and at the new Menards store in Lebanon, Indiana.\u00a0\u00a0 I know how excited fans get for this race each year, so it will be fun to meet a lot of them at the different events\u201d Todd added.<\/p>\n
