He and the Jim Dunn Racing team did end a recent streak of non-qualifying efforts and made the Summer Nationals FC program with a 4.362 secs and a best speed of 284.27 mph.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/NHRA4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-249\" title=\"Concord-ToddL6\" src=\"https:\/\/nitrofccanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/NHRA4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"432\" height=\"323\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In round one they raced Cruz Pedregon&#8217;s Snap-On Tools Toyota &#8212; Cruz was the event&#8217;s pole qualifier at 4.046 secs.<\/p>\n<p>The door of opportunity was certainly open in round one as both cars experienced issues. Todd&#8217;s car smoked the tires about 200 feet out and he peddled the car X2 but ultimately could not run down Pedregon.
